How would you describe your own style? Men's style consists of several elements, one of which is the outfit. My bespoke suits, shirts and shoes represent, along with my perfume, a style made of details and pleasant sensations: sober, yet never conventional.
Come descriverebbe il suo stile? Lo stile di un uomo si compone di tanti elementi, tra cui, ciò che indossa. I miei abiti, le mie camicie e le mie scarpe su misura rappresentano, insieme al mio profumo, uno stile fatto di dettagli e piacevoli sensazioni: sobrio e mai convenzionale.
What is your earliest memory related to menswear and style? Style is already visible in a little boy’s choices. When I was 10, I started to be passionate about bespoke menswear, wearing my first hand-sewn shirts. Soon after, I approched the hand-crafted shoes industry with such an interest, that today it became my job, my pride.
Qual è il suo primo ricordo legato all'abbigliamento da uomo e allo stile? Lo stile si evidenzia, già nelle scelte di un bambino. All’età di dieci anni ho cominciato ad appassionarmi all’abbigliamento su misura, indossando le prime camicie fatte a mano e, subito dopo, mi sono avvicinato al mondo delle scarpe artigianali, con tanto interesse che oggi è diventato il mio lavoro, il mio orgoglio.
If you had to name one person who influenced your style, who would that be? My only source of inspiration is the allure of personalities who wrote the history of elegance, such as Fred Astaire, Giovanni Agnelli and Valentino Garavani.
Se dovesse indicare una persona che ha influenzato il suo stile, chi sarebbe? La mia unica fonte d’ispirazione è l’allure di personaggi che hanno fatto la storia dell’eleganza, quali Fred Astair, Giovanni Agnelli e Valentino Garavani.
Your advice for men who want to be well-dressed? To a man wishing to dress well, I would recommend going for bespoke garments, in order to wear something with a fit that follows the body shape and unique as for the details and the fabrics: this way he can feel comfortable, delivering a positive image of himself, which - I believe - is the most beautiful thing to see in a man.
Che consiglio darebbe ad un uomo che desidera vestirsi bene? Ad un uomo che desidera vestirsi bene, consiglierei, anzitutto, di scegliere capi fatti su misura, al fine di indossare qualcosa che abbia una vestibilità perfetta per la propria conformazione e unica per dettagli e materiali: in questo modo potrà sentirsi a proprio agio e trasmettere quell’immagine positiva di se che, credo, sia la cosa più bella da vedere in un uomo.
