Lanieri: Bouclé Made to Measure Coat

With the cold season officially started here in Milan, it’s time to layer up and this Lanieri made to measure coat surely does the trick. It has three main features that I like: it’s green, a colour I never get bored of; it keeps me warm thanks to its 650gr/mt weight and a 60% wool 40% lama blend from Piacenza woollen mill; third, it features a bouclé pattern.

For those who are not in the know, bouclé is a carded yarn with curly loops and a rough hand, that the menswear industry has borrowed from women’s wear. It's single-breasted, with buttoned cuffs, traditional lapels and has been cut at the knee level, so it's comfortable to wear also when riding a bike.
