After some months of absence, The Bespoke Dudes is back on track with a completely renovated layout and many new projects in the pipeline. Below are shown some shots taken in Brescia during the first day of Mille Miglia, which was rightfully defined by Enzo Ferrari as "the most beautiful race in the world". As a spectator, it's not hard to spot elegant women and men wearing helmets, driving gloves and glasses, whilst driving their masterpieces, produced between 1927 and 1857 and equipped with roaring engines. This and much more is Mille Miglia, which from 1927 is a meeting point for enthusiasts and pilots, professionals and amateurs who race in style in a timeless contest from Brescia to Rome, back and forth.
During my stay in Brescia, I had the chance to discover the new collection by Chopard, main sponsor of the race since 1988. The Mille Miglia GTS (Gran Turismo Sport) is the first collection of the Swiss maison featuring a completely in-house produced movement and comprises three models: a cronometer with date indicator, a cronograph and a model with power reserve. Conceived to be loyal co-pilots, these models are automatic and feature a power reserve of 60 hours.
