Lardini, the jewel of contemporary classic from Marche, presents a collection where the undisputed key player is the reversible garment: from the blazer to the duster coat, one solid side and the other is patterned. The jacket is uncostructed, “as of the upcoming year we will also make full canvas suits” – points out Alessio Lardini, in charge of the styling in the family business. The selection of materials is striking, ranging from precious superfine wools to English Shetlands and Bouclé effects. The latter, worked in small rings in relief, gives a soft and spongy touch. New entries are also the crickett blazer, with a regimental design on a wool fabric, and the quilted nylon vest, to be worn under the suit or with separates, but rigorously with a tie, like their earth-coloured knitted ones. The tuxedo is knitted as well, featuring a shawl collar, covered buttons as in the classic dinner jacket and strictly black edging. Renowned in the world for that romantic and hedonistic flower on their jackets, that evokes the lapel pins of the 1970s’ nouvelle vogue, the company offers also a made to measure service, with delivery after 15-20 days at the customer's home.

Lardini, perla marchigiana del classico contemporaneo, presenta una collezione con il capo reversibile che fa da protagonista: dalla giacca allo spolverino, un lato in tina unita, l’altro in fantasia. La giacca è destrutturata, “dal prossimo anno faremo anche abiti intelati”- mi specifica Alessio Lardini, che nell’azienda di famiglia si occupa dello stile del prodotto. Colpisce inevitabilmente la sapiente scelta dei tessuti: si inizia dalle più comuni lane fini e pregiate per arrivare agli Shetland inglesi e alla lavorazione Bouclé, una tecnica particolare che, lavorando il tessuto ad anellini in rilievo, dona una mano morbida e spugnosa. Le novità continuano, poi, con la giacca da crickett, in lana regimental a fasce larghe, e con il gilet in nylon trapuntato, compagno ideale sia dell’abito che dello spezzato, da portare con cravatte in maglina dai toni caldi della terra. Lo smoking viene reinterpretato in versione giacca in maglia, con collo a scialle largo, bottoni coperti e bordatura rigorosamente nera. Conosciuta in tutto il mondo per quel romantico ed edonistico fiore all'occhiello delle giacche, che evoca i Pins della nouvelle vogue anni Settanta, l'azienda offre anche il Servizio su misura, con consegna a casa nell'arco di 15-20 giorni.
