Without shaking hands I can say that double-monks are quite ubiquitous nowadays. We've seen them in every possible combination of hides and styles, yet these Armstrong ankle boots from Bow-Tie deserve a specific plaudit. Firstly, for their Goodyear construction and then for the chestnut suede, which makes them a perfect pair with white trousers and carded fabrics. As TBD readers might know, the goodyear construction grants an utmost comfort thanks to a special material made from cork, which literally adapts to the foot. Moreover, the welt is lightly coloured creating low contrast with the upper and the buckles are well positioned on the shoe, not creating creases during the walk. The cherry on the pie is definitely the dainite sole, ideal for the rainy days of winter and to avoid any kind of slip on a wet sidewalk.
Bespoke hugs,
Fabio
